Wednesday Morning Traffic: Crash causing delays, shutdowns on I-4 EB, Sr-44 in DeLand

CENTRAL FLORIDA — A dump truck collided with a car on SR-44 in Deland Wednesday morning, causing the I-4 eastbound entrance to shut down, WFTV traffic reporter Racquel Asa said.

The car is trapped under the overturned truck, and SR-44 is down to one lane.

As an alternate route, Asa says to take SR-44 westbound, and then a right on Kepler Road northbound to US-92 eastbound and make a right to get to Daytona Beach.

Also, a crash is causing delays on I-4 eastbound near Lee Road Wednesday morning.
