Winter Haven H.S. athletic director arrested on sex battery charges

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — The athletic director of Winter Haven High School was arrested on charges of sexual battery, WFTV found out Friday.

Police said Steven Beasley was at a non-school-related event on Lake Howard last month when he approached two women in the water and inappropriately touched them against their will.

Officers said Beasley knew both victims because of his position at the school.
