Missing Orange County pregnant woman found safe

WINTER PARK, Fla. — A pregnant woman who was reported missing by her family has been found safe.

Winter Park police said Monday the public's help was needed in locating Talisha Thomas, 25.

They said she was last seen on April 29 at about 1 a.m. when she was released from Winter Park hospital.

Thomas is nine months pregnant and is due to give birth this month.

Her family filed the missing persons’ report on Friday.

Thomas' friends and family hadn't heard from her since she left the hospital.

Thomas was found tonight after someone saw a flier with her picture on it and called her mom.

She had gone to a friend's house.

Thomas has not given birth yet.

Orlando police is taking over the investigation because Thomas lives in Orlando.

No other information was released about her disappearance.
