Woman in critical condition after car jumps curb

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A Kissimmee woman is in critical condition after a car jumped a curb and slammed into her at a bus stop Saturday morning.

Jessica Hayes, 18, was standing at a bus stop on Oak Ridge Road and Texas Avenue when 33-year-old Jose Quinones lost control of his vehicle, according to a report.

Quinones' Buick struck Hayes and the bus stop bench. Hayes ended up underneath the car.

The accident occurred around 11 a.m. in Orange County.

Quinones was placed under arrest and taken to the Orange County Jail.
