Worldwide Pinktober kicks off at Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — WFTV's very own Vanessa Echols rocked out with Bret Michaels at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando to kick off the worldwide Pinktober.

As part of the fight against breast cancer, the lights around the hotel were turned pink.

Select guest rooms will feature pink sheets, and Hard Rock will donate 25 percent of those charges to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The hotel also donated proceeds from the silent auction to Compassionate Hands and Hearts Breast Cancer Outreach.
