If you're looking to experience the traditional New Orleans festive affair without leaving the sunshine state, this party is just for you. The streets of downtown Leesburg will come alive on February 17^th and 18^th with fun, food, drinks, festive parades, music, and more. To kick off the event, there will be a Mardi Gras Ball on February 17^th at Leesburg Opera House, where the new King and Queen will be crowned. A fee does apply, and the attire is formal or costume. On February 18^th, there will be three exciting parades from 11 am to 11 pm with street performers, carnival rides, and of course, what is a Mardi Gras without tons of beads being tossed in the air?
