Meet one of our new 27 Community Connection partners for 2014, Dr. Kenrick Spence.
Cosmetic plastic surgeon Kenrick Spence, MD, has been in the practice of medicine since 1990 and private practice as a plastic surgeon since 1999. In 2011, he established Hillcrest Aesthetic Institute and turned the focus of his practice to facial plastic surgery and rejuvenation.
Using his extensive experience, training, and highly developed skills, Dr. Spence has developed an exclusive facial skin management protocol designed to care for all types of skin and a full range of skin concerns, providing patients with naturally beautiful and healthy skin throughout their lives.
In 2014, Hillcrest Aesthetic Institute is expanding again, opening a full-time office in The Villages and welcoming experienced, board-certified dermatologists/Mohs’ surgeons Kenneth Wallace, MD, and Jeffrey Stricker, DO, to further enhance the care provided to patients. This innovative approach of combining dermatology and plastic surgery under one roof will promote comprehensive, convenient, coordinated and patient-centered care that focuses on complete facial health and restoration. To schedule an appointment, give us a call at (407) 999-2585.
Dr. Spence is also a supporter of the Dueling Dragons of Orlando Dragon Boat Team (a.k.a., “Cops and Kids”) which is an unlikely partnership between at-risk teens and officers from the Orlando Police Department who have joined together to become a one-of-a-kind, competitive racing team.
The Kids come from the City’s Operation Positive Direction, Parramore Kidz Zone, and the City's Families, Parks and Recreation Department. The Cops and Kids both participate as volunteers. This is the Dueling Dragon’s third year competing, primarily in the Walgreens International Dragon Boat Festival held at each fall.
