3 Homeless Feeding Group Members Arrested

ORLANDO, Fla. —

A member of the group Food Not Bombs is in jail on Thursday, waiting for his chance to go before a judge.

Three group members were arrested while serving meals to the homeless in Lake Eola Park on Wednesday night.

Jessica Cross, Benjamin Markeson, and Johnathan Mchenry were arrested on suspicion of violating the city's ordinance on mass feedings.

Cross and Markeson posted bond and were released. Mchenry refused to post bond and instead wants to go before a judge on Thursday.

Food Not Bombs has been challenging the city ordinance limiting mass feedings to twice a year in downtown Orlando. It has already reached that limit.
