ORLANDO, Fla. —
Show planners said the event usually averages 25,000 to 30,000 visitors, but attendance was up 25 percent compared to 2009.
Visitors told WFTV they haven't stopped spending money on their homes and are taking advantage of any extra cash they may have.
"People are making better decisions with their money. People are thinking harder," Local 9 expert Tim Brice said.
Organizers said the event was such a huge success that vendors have already started requesting spots for October's show, which is something they haven't seen in years.
