BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. —
Deputies in Brevard County are searching for the man who robbed a Shell gas station Saturday morning.
The robbery happened around 7 a.m. at the Shell gas station on Fay Boulevard in Cocoa, deputies said.
The suspect went into the bathroom of the gas station before coming out wearing a black mask and pointing a gun at the clerk, investigators said.
Deputies told WFTV the suspect demanded money from the clerk and then fled on a bicycle. The victim was not injured during the robbery, deputies said.
Deputies searched the area using K-9 dogs and a helicopter, but the suspect was not found. Deputies did find some evidence nearby, including the suspect's gun.
Investigators released a surveillance photo of the suspect, who is described as a white male, between 25 and 35-years-old, and 6 feet tall. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, jeans and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information regarding the crime should contact the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.
