ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —

A group of kids at an Orange County daycare got a scare when a car slammed into the front of the building.

Several kids were inside the daycare at a home on Rio Grande Avenue on Monday when a driver lost control and ran into the front porch. None of the children were hurt, but the driver was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

"Thank God we were all in another part of the house. I heard the kaboom when it first hit the fence, but then I heard the impact and felt it when it hit my porch," said homeowner Connie Zanders.

The driver may have lost control because his tire blew out.

Police said charges were pending against the driver.
