ORLANDO, Fla. —

Lead prosecutor Jeff Ashton talked about the not guilty verdict in the Casey Anthony trial with the ladies of the view on Wednesday. The 30-year veteran of the State Attorney's Office talked to the women of The View, who bombarded him with questions.

But the one that seemed to be on everyone's mind was how he felt about the outcome and his performance during the trial.

"It doesn't make me feel that bad. I mean, we put on everything that that investigation, a really thorough investigation, over three years produced. So we put on every piece of evidence that was admissible and we felt like we argued it as well as anybody could," Ashton said.

Ashton also talked about how the idea of George Anthony's abuse wasn't brought up until the trial.

Casey's sentencing is scheduled for 9:00am on Thursday.
