Couple Escapes Daytona Beach Apartment Fire

A Daytona Beach man and his wife safely escaped after their apartment caught fire.

The couple was at their home on Third Street when the blaze started Tuesday night. The man tried to put out the fire, but the blaze was too large.

Black smoke and flames were coming from the apartment when fire crews arrived on scene and quickly extinguished the flames.

There were no injuries reported.
