DCF Closes Abuse Case On Haleigh's Dad

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. —

The Department of Children and Families has closed its investigation into the father of a missing Putnam County girl.

Five-year-old Haleigh Cummings has been missing since February. Her parents are divorced and Haleigh was staying with her father at the time of her disappearance.

Ronald Cummings was accused of abuse, but DCF didn't find any evidence to support the allegations.

Haleigh's brother will remain in Ronald Cummings' care, but he and his new wife have agreed to take parenting classes.
