ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
Orange County deputies are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the south Apopka area Saturday night.
The shooting happened just before midnight Saturday on 15th Street near Central Avenue.
Officials said dispatchers received 911 calls in reference to shots fired near the intersection. Once on scene, a man was found deceased in the roadway with a gunshot wound to the head, deputies said.
According to investigators, a second shooting victim showed up at a nearby hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
Deputies said they currently have no suspect description and no witnesses have come forward.
The victim's name has not been released.
