Disney Employee Arrested Trying To Meet 14-Year-Old Girl For Sex

Channel 9 learned more about a Disney worker arrested in an online sex sting. Brian Fries was free on bond Friday afternoon after investigators said he tried to lure an undercover officer, posing as a 14-year-old, to an apartment for sex.

A Disney spokesperson said Fries was on unpaid leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

Brian Fries, 27, had nothing to say as he left the Orange County jail Friday morning. He was arrested on Thursday night for the solicitation of a minor using the Internet.

Using the screen name "Absolutskipper' in an Orlando chat room of AOL, Fries instant messaged an undercover deputy on Tuesday who was pretending to be a 14-year-old girl.

Undercover Deputy: "how old ru again?"

Absolutskipper: "old...27"

>Undercover Deputy: "cool"

Absolutskipper: "you ok with that?"

>Undercover Deputy: "yeah, as long as ur ok with me 14"

Absolutskipper: "hehe as long as you aren't one of those to catch a predator people"

The two agreed to meet at an Orange County apartment complex Thursday night where Fries was arrested.

After bonding out of jail, Fries, his mother and father rushed inside their Kissimmee home without saying a word.

Brian's MySpace.com page shows a picture of him wearing a Disney uniform along with a list of jobs he's held at Disney as a bartender, merchandise worker and character greeter dating back to 1996. A Disney spokesperson said he recently worked on a jungle cruise ride at Disney's Magic Kingdom.

Neighbors were surprised and shocked.

"You don't want that around your kids," said one neighbor.

Disney released a statement Friday afternoon saying they take matter of this kind very seriously and that Fries had been placed on unpaid leave pending the outcome of the charges.
