Federal Agents Bust Porn Ring Run Out Of MetroWest Condo

Federal agents said an international porn ring was being run out of a MetroWest condo.

The videos were so raunchy that just the description turned neighbors’ stomachs.

Investigators said a Brazilian businessman was working with two people in Central Florida on student visas. They distributed the videos in MetroWest.

In a hearing Friday, the Postal Inspector testified that she had been looking into the ring since 2003. She had to watch videos that depict raunchy sexual acts that were distributed from an Orlando condo.

The Postal Inspector was at the Madison At Metro West condos searching for more clues about an operation tied to unit 331. Eyewitness News didn’t get much info when we went the door.

The Postal Inspector said two Brazilians lived in the condo while in the country on student visas, but found a job other than studying: distributing videos and DVDs that were produced in Brazil.

Channel 9 showed the whole report to Alex Chomba who lives near the couple.

“Oh my God,” he said. “This should not be happening over here.”

In federal court Friday, prosecutors argued the material was obscene during a hearing with Danilo Croce, the man the Feds said was really behind the raunchy tapes.

Wednesday, at an I-Drive hotel, the Postal Inspector arrested Croce. He had come to Orlando on vacation from Brazil. His fiancé, who wept in court, would not answer any questions before she sped away in a chauffeured car.

Currently, only Mr. Croce is facing criminal charges. Neither of the students had been arrested. The postal inspector said both are cooperating with investigators.
