Greg Warmoth

I arrived at WFTV in 1986, coming from KSTP in Minneapolis, Minnesota. For the first 11 years, I was WFTV's weekend sports anchor and covered some area-changing events, from Orlando's securing of an NBA franchise to following the team's march to the NBA Finals. Even now as a news anchor, I enjoy covering sporting events from time to time.

In 1997, I made the switch to the news department and wake every day at 2:45am to co-anchor Eyewitness News Daybreak, Eyewitness News This Morning on TV-27 and Eyewitness News at Noon.

(Movie fans may have also seen me playing the part of Kennedy Space Center Reporter in the movie Armaggedon.)

In my spare time, I am active with youth sports and several charitable functions including the Chris DiMarco "Tee Up For Life" golf tournament (www.teeupforlife.com). In the past 10 years, we have raised 4 million dollars for children battling cancer. I also enjoy running and competing in area 5 and 10k runs.

I live in Longwood with my wife Christie and we are the proud parents of three sons.
