ORLANDO, Fla. —
Firefighters were able to extinguish the out-of-control fire by 12:30pm. Neighbors told Eyewitness News they were concerned the fire could spread due to huge trees surrounding the home, but crews were able to contain it.
Fire crews searched the house once the flames were extinguished and didn't find anyone inside. The owner arrived at the scene shortly after the fire started and was visibly upset.
Much of the home appeared to have been saved by firefighters with the damage contained to the garage and some neighboring rooms.
Firefighters said it's too soon to determine the cause of the intense fire.
