CENTRAL FLORIDA —

State Rep. Chris Dorworth was in line to become Florida's next Speaker of the House but Democrat Mike Clelland is 123 votes ahead of the Republican right now, in Seminole County.

On Sunday at 1 p.m. the county's canvassing board will start a recount to determine who will take the House District 29 seat.

In neighboring Orange County, a recount will start at 9 a.m. Monday to see if Pete Clarke will beat Lui Damiani for the Orange County Commission District 3 seat.

Clarke leads Damiani in the vote count, but the race was close enough to trigger a recount.
