BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. —
Brevard County investigators believe they've caught the suspects responsible for about a dozen burglaries in the last three weeks, many targeting business safes and ATMs.
Four teens were arrested after they were spotted in the parking lot of Long Doggers, a Palm Bay restaurant.
Before the arrests, police said two other Long Dogger restaurants in Satellite and in Indialantic were hit, along with three other businesses in Melbourne.
Police charged Luis Fuentes, Alexander Laboy-Tapia, Casey Hiers and Brittney Alexander Carter with burglary and criminal mischief.
According to the arrest reports, undercover officers watched the group drive by Long Doggers multiple times before stopping in the lot.
Police said one of the teens got out of the vehicle, walked up to the business and then got back in the car and drove off.
Police said glass doors inside the restaurant were shattered and when they pulled the suspects over, a window punch was found in the vehicle.
Investigators said they believe the arrest might have ended a three-week run for the accused burglars.
Agencies across Brevard County told WFTV about a dozen burglaries at six businesses could be connected.
More charges are expected to be filed against the teens, authorities said.
