Empty sandbags and dirt will be available to all residents of Seminole County at Soldiers Creek Park. Residents will be able to receive up to 30 sandbags. Sand or dirt will be provided for you to fill these bags, but shovels will need to be brought.
Free sandbags will be distributed to residents from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Locations: Mitchell Ellington Park, 575 W. Hall Road, Merritt Island.
Brevard Sheriff's Farm, 2955 Pluckebaum Road, Cocoa
Park & Ride lot at I-95 and Eau Gallie Boulevard, Melbourne
Residents will be able to pick up 10 filled sandbags per vehicle.
Marion County:
Sandbags will be provided to residents at Northeast 14th Street and 9th Avenue, or at Jervey Gantt Park.
They are free, but there is a 10-bag limit.
