BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. —
Investigators were trying to figure out what caused a deadly, multivehicle crash in Brevard County Wednesday night.
State troopers said a Melbourne man was headed south on Wickham Road when his Honda Prelude sideswiped an SUV, crossed the median and slammed into a Buick headed northbound.
The impact from the crash pushed the Buick into the path of a Toyota Camry, according to investigators.
The Melbourne man driving the Honda was killed.
Investigators said drivers in the Buick and the Toyota suffered serious injuries and were taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center.
The crash closed Winkham Road between Post Road and Highway 40 for a time, but the roadway had reopened Wednesday night.
