I grew up in Connecticut and Virginia and always loved the weather. In 1985, Hurricane Gloria triggered my serious interest in weather, in particular the tropics!

I graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Geography. I teamed up with my professor and published two studies on hurricanes and their impact on increased precipitation in the Eastern United States. I then went on to obtain a degree in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.

My career started at the ABC affiliate in Salisbury, Maryland, and then I was able to enjoy the mountains at the ABC affiliate in Charleston, West Virginia. I am a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM Seal Holder) through the American Meteorological Society and also have my National Weather Association Seal of Approval for weathercasting.

My Connecticut roots (and family influence!) made me a big fan of the New York Yankees. And when the college basketball season rolls around, I am glued to the TV to see my Villanova Wildcats!

I am currently on the Board of Trustees for the Orlando Science Center.

My wife, our two sons (the future backcourt of the Orlando Magic), and I live in Orlando. We spend our free time searching for the best thin crust pizza and would appreciate any suggestions!
