Vice President Joe Biden and Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan are campaigning around Florida, trying to shore up support from the party faithful and trying to sway undecided voters in the final weeks of the campaign.
 
Biden visited the west Florida enclave of Sun City Center Friday afternoon, while Ryan was scheduled to stop at an event at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
 
Biden is scheduled to be in Fort Pierce later in the day and Ryan is in Palm Beach County before meeting up with Mitt Romney in Daytona Friday night.

Romney and Ryan will be at the Bandshell and security is already ramped up. The event begins at 8:30 p.m.

Daytona Beach police and Volusia County are working traffic and crowd control.

The Secret Service will handle security and the Coast Guard and beach patrol will handle security on the ocean and the beach.

WFTV spoke with bikers in town for Biketoberfest and many are staying at the Wyndham and Hilton on the beach.

They said they're concerned about getting in and out of their hotel rooms. Guests said that they have to have special passes to go to the pool, which is putting a dent in their weekend plans.

"I think it's crap. Can I say that? Only because this morning we came down to get coffee at Starbucks and yeah, we had to go through the metal detectors at 8 in the morning. It's kind of crazy," said visitor Sabrina Downing.
 
Also, First Lady Michelle Obama will visit Florida as will Romney's wife, Ann.
 
On Monday, President Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney will appear in the final debate from Lynn University in Boca Raton.
