SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. —

A serious rollover crash shut down the westbound lanes of Interstate 4 at US Highway 17-92 in Seminole County on Tuesday morning.

Seminole County Fire Rescue said one person, who is in serious condition, has been airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

The crash happened around 8 a.m. at mile marker 104. The Florida Highway Patrol said at least two vehicles were involved in the crash and one rolled over.

The crash created a seven mile backup on westbound I-4.

Troopers reopened the westbound lanes just after 10 a.m.

During the lane closure FHP officials re-routed drivers off of I-4 at 17-92 and back on at State Road 46.
