DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. —
Investigators are asking the public’s help in finding a Daytona Beach man accused of stealing hundreds of dollars from residents through a timeshare scheme.
Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents said Harold Douglas Blue contacted people who wanted to sell their timeshare properties and told them he had a buyer when he really didn't.
Blue would then get the seller to pay up to $800 in fake closing costs, authorities said.
Blue was an employee at Marketing Direct Timeshare Services at the time of the incidents, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
