Deputies: 2 Orange County school buses stolen

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —

Two Orange County school buses were stolen, and investigators said on Thursday they are trying to find the culprits.

Officers said the buses were stolen at about 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday from a bus yard on Hanging Moss Road, between SR-436 and Forsyth Road.

Authorities told WFTV that the buses were equipped with GPS tracking devices, but they stopped working near SR-417.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the first bus is a 2007 Yellow International busnumber 27192, bearing Florida tag number 238245, and VIN number 4DRBWAAN87A323073.

Deputies said the second bus is a 2005 Yellow International bus # 25119, bearing Florida tag number 219587, and VIN number 4DRBWAAR65A978204.
