DELTONA, Fla. —
Volusia County deputies said they have a man in custody for firing into a home with children inside Monday.
The sheriff's office said that just after midnight, 22-year-old Abdul Ayanwale fired three shots through the front door of a home on Apollo Avenue in Deltona.
The bullets went through the home and shattered a sliding glass door, deputies said.
Investigators said two women and two children were home at the time, but no one was hurt.
Deputies said they believe Ayanwale was targeting his ex-girlfriend.
