KISSIMMEE, Fla. —
People in Kissimmee may soon be able to take advantage of a new ferry boat taxi as part of the city's push to become a top tourist destination.
City leaders plan to spend $150,000 on the project on Lake Toho and will borrow a boat from the county.
One of the stops the ferry would make is Makinson Island, which you can only get to right now if you have a private boat or take a guided tour.
