A man accused of killing two teenagers in a drunken driving crash on U.S. 192 had nothing to say to Channel 9 as he bonded out of the Osceola County Jail on Friday.

FHP said Randall Kerley was drunk when he crashed his pickup truck into another car, killing 18-year-old Rachel Price and 19-year-old Jamaree Cook.

Troopers said Kerley had just dropped off his children prior to the crash.

Florida Highway Patrol said Kerley, 47, was going east and the teenagers were heading west when Kerley turned in front of them, causing a chain-reaction crash.

The car carrying Price and Cook caught fire as it crashed into another car that was driven by 45-year-old Patricia Will, who was stopped at a light, authorities said.

Will was not injured.

State troopers said Kerley's blood-alcohol level was nearly two times the legal limit four hours after the crash.

Kerley was charged with two counts of DUI manslaughter and two counts of DUI with property damage, troopers said.

His bond was set at $21,000, which Kerley was able to post several hours after the crash.

Channel 9's Jeff Deal learned Price was a standout soccer player when she attended Melbourne High School.

While at Melbourne, Price was named Space Coast Player of the Year three years in a row. She was an all-American and helped lead the team to back-to-back championships.

The team even appeared on the cover of ESPN's Rise magazine.

Davison Fasanella said Price was not just a great athlete but also someone who seemed to really care about others.

Melbourne's athletic director echoed that sentiment, saying Price was "a great kid. What an athlete. So much talent. To be taken by a drunk driver, it's unconscionable."

Following Melbourne, Price took her talents to Eckerd College, where she was a freshman.
