MARION COUNTY, Fla. —
Drivers in parts of Marion County were warned to slow down Thursday, because of dense fog and smoke from a controlled burn.
Florida Highway Patrol said it was monitoring State Road 200 and County Road 484 after a 170-acre controlled burn caused smoke on State Road 200.
Officials said the burn was out Thursday night, but that they were still monitoring hot spots.
