EDGEWATER. Fla. —
Two people were forced from an Edgewater home Monday afternoon when a fire broke out.
Firefighters responded to reports of a house fire on Turgot Avenue.
According to firefighters, a man and woman were able to escape the house. The man had minor burns on his hands and was treated at the scene.
Firefighters believe a candle caught a bedroom on fire, and the fire spread to the attic.
Firefighters said the house sustained significant damage.
