MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. —
Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to Merritt Island Airport after reports came in of a helicopter down Wednesday evening.
According to fire officials the three people onboard the aircraft all escaped serious injury.
One of those was transported to the hospital.
There is not word on what caused the accident.
