ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
Florida Highway Patrol troopers said a hit-and-run driver was killed in a fiery crash Friday night.
Troopers said the driver was going east on Colonial Drive when he went off the road and hit a tree, causing his car to burst into flames.
The accident happened near Christmas Road around 7:30 p.m.
According to troopers, the driver had just taken off from a hit-and-run scene where someone was injured at Colonial Drive and State Road 520.
Troopers have not released the name of the man who died in the crash.
