ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
Investigators release sketch of suspect in fatal Orange County shooting
Orange County investigators released a composite sketch of one of two men they are looking for in connection with a fatal shooting Friday night.
According to deputies, the shooting happened just after 11:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Sun Key apartment complex, off of Goldenrod Road.
Investigators said Jeffrey Carpenter, 32, was shot and killed.
The victim's girlfriend told deputies they were waiting to meet a friend in the parking lot when two men confronted them, investigators said.
According to deputies, the woman said one of the suspects shot Carpenter before fleeing in a dark colored vehicle.
Investigators said the composite sketch released Monday is of the man who did not fire the gun.
