ORLANDO, Fla. —

A judge made a ruling on Thursday in a motion filed by the woman suing Casey Anthony for defamation.

Attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez want Casey to testify under oath about what happened to her daughter, Caylee Anthony.

However, the judge sided with Casey in her legal battle to use her Fifth Amendment right in the defamation lawsuit.

Casey can plead the fifth while appealing her convictions for lying to investigators.

Gonzalez's lawyer Matt Morgan said in a statement that he disagrees with the ruling.

Morgan said he will ask for a summary judgment next week, based on Casey's comments to her mother while she was in jail.
