SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. —
A Seminole County man was arrested after a nearly two-hour standoff at a duplex early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
Deputies said they were called to the home on South Chaucer Lane after the man barricaded himself inside.
WFTV found out there were two people in the home, who were able to run outside.
As a precaution, people living on the other side of the duplex and the home across the street were evacuated, but have since been allowed back into their homes.
Deputies said the man, whose name was not released, was hospitalized for a mental evaluation.
