SANFORD, Fla. —
Hundreds of people showed up to support missing mother Michelle Parker at her former workplace in Sanford. It has been more than three weeks since she vanished but her family is not giving up their fight to find her.
“We want her home. She did not ask for this. We need her home,” said Parker’s mother Yvonne Stewart.
As the search for Parker continues, so do the fundraising efforts. The truck tug-of-war and silent auction raised thousands of dollars. Most of it will go into a trust fund for her three kids, while some of it will help in the search for her.
“We are not going to quit searching until we find her. I have been telling you this from day one. We are not going to quit,” said Stewart.
It was Nov. 17 when Parker vanished after she dropped off her twins at her ex-fiance’s condo in south Orlando. Dale Smith Jr. is the prime suspect in her disappearance. On that same day, Parker and Smith appeared on a recorded episode of “The People’s Court.” Since then, her Hummer SUV and iPhone have been found. But there has been no trace of Parker.
“Every morning when I wake up and my eyes open I look at the ceiling in my bedroom and I am like, 'God, what am I supposed to do today? What am I supposed to do now?'” said Stewart.
No one has been arrested in this case. As of now, Parker’s twins remain with their father Smith.
