POLK COUNTY, Fla. —
In Polk County, fire-rescue officials celebrated the grand opening of its newest state-of-the-art facility in Davenport Tuesday.
The new station is located on West Palmetto Street.
It's the first of its kind in the county to be a joint facility that houses Polk County Fire-Rescue and the Davenport Fire Department.
