LAKE COUNTY, Fla. —
The company that employed a nurse whose license was suspended after her employment ended has let WFTV know it was proactive in getting her away from its patients.
Last week, WFTV reported Nancy Jane Coyer’s nursing license was suspended. But several months before the suspension, Coyer’s employer at the time had ordered her to undergo a drug test.
She refused and Advanced Gastroenterology and Surgery and Associates tells us that effectively terminated her employment.
The Department of Health then investigated and suspended Coyer’s nursing license on Dec. 17.
