ORLANDO, Fla. —
An Orlando telemarketer was arrested on charges of scamming timeshare owners out of millions of dollars.
Federal prosecutors said Kathryn Garten, who went by several aliases, worked for National Solutions in Orlando.
Investigators said she would call timeshare owners, tell them she had a buyer for their property, and then collect closing costs.
Her company never sold timeshares, federal prosecutors said.
Garten allegedly duped people out of $6 million.
