TITUSVILLE, Fla. —
Several intersections in Titusville are shut down because a train's cars separated as the conductor tried to avoid hitting a bicycle.
Officials said a man tried to ride his bike across the tracks at Garden Street and beat the train. But he didn't have time, so he jumped off the bike and left it on the tracks.
The train hit the bike and the cars separated as it was braking.
No one was hurt, but several intersections around Garden and Sycamore streets are closed.
