ORLANDO, Fla. —
A man was found shot in the head at about 10:30 p.m. Monday on Givens Street, which is near the intersection of State Road 50 and Orange Blossom Trail, police said.
Police said Rodney Mack was taken to the hospital, where he died.
A friend of Mack, Eddie Williams, told WFTV he did not know what happened, but he thought emergency responders didn't react quickly enough to save his friend.
"It's a life or death situation. Pick him up and run him to the ambulance and rush him to the hospital. There was none of that," said Williams.
Police said when they arrived at the scene, they found Mack lying on the sidewalk.
