ORLANDO, Fla. —
A police report shows Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer's 17-year-old son has been cited for careless driving.
Drew Dyer was driving a black Infiniti when he blew through a stop sign and crashed into a house in College Park early Sunday morning, and then left the scene, according to officials.
The report reveals the homeowner told police that both young males who were on the scene "took off running in separate directions" when the police showed up.
The report also states that police found the boys' wallets in the car and towed the car.
The homeowner told police that even though the crash caused $15,000 to $20,000 damage to his home, he doesn't want to prosecute.
Orlando police said the case is closed.
