OVIEDO, Fla. —
Federal drug officials have given an Oviedo Walgreens just over a month to explain why it should not be shut down after it was raided.
In April, Drug Enforcement Administration agents raided the Walgreens on Lockwood Boulevard after reports showed the pharmacy ordered 1.7 million doses of oxycodone pills last year.
The DEA gave the pharmacy an opportunity to provide evidence as to why their licenses should not be revoked.
A hearing was scheduled for Jan. 7 in Washington, D.C.
