NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. —
A small plane made an emergency landing on a major roadway in New Smyrna Beach Thursday evening.
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office received a call just before 7 p.m. saying that a plane had landed on State Road 44.
The plane's pilot said the plane lost power and was forced to land on the highway, according to officials.
According to reports there were two people aboard the plane.
No one was injured in the incident.
The plane was pushed from the roadway into a nearby parking lot.
