ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
A man is behind bars after Eatonville Police say he fired shots at the home of an officer who arrested him.
Yancy Filmore, 24, is accused of firing shots at the home of Eatonville Police Sergeant Eric McIntyre.
It all started in October when McIntyre hit Filmore with a Taser and arrested him on drug and weapons charges after he said Filmore tried to flee.
Then this past week, officers watched a car roll through one stop sign, then a second stop sign.
When police pulled the car over, Filmore was inside.
Police said he spontaneously admitted to driving to the officer's home and opening fire from behind a neighbor's fence.
Police said they feel he was trying to intimidate the officer from testifying against him.
"It's very concerning cause it could easily hit…he's got kids over there…easily one could have got hurt," said neighbor Lloyd Jackson.
Filmore told officers he tossed the gun in a lake near his grandparents' house.
Filmore was given bond for the shooting, but because he was out on bond when he got arrested again, the original bond was revoked and he remains locked up.
