VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. —
A man suspected of robbing a convenience store in New Smyrna Beach was arrested Friday.
Thomas Clark is charged in an armed robbery at TK’s Right Stop Wednesday.
New Symrna Beach police said a tip led to Clark’s arrest.
Police said they believe Clark is the man seen in surveillance video confronting and holding down a clerk at the convenience store.
That’s when a woman wearing pink can be seen jumping over the counter to steal money from the register as two innocent customers walk in.
Police said they are still looking for Clark’s accomplice. They believe the woman in the surveillance video is Heather Kinnaird, 31.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call police.
