Polk Co. sheriff's office employee accused of having sex with minor

A Polk County Sheriff's Office employee arrested and accused of having sex with a minor will make her first court appearance Tuesday morning.

Lisa Goep-Ferich, 33, resigned from her position as a payroll specialist on Monday, following her arrest.

Investigators say she had an ongoing relationship with a 17-year-old boy she met in December.

Goep-Ferich is charged with three counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
